More and more people are checking their Facebook pages directly from their phones. If that’s you, there is another easy way to get a cell phone Amber Alert.
Simply login to Facebook and use the search bar at the top. Find the official Amber Alert Facebook page for your state, then "Like" it! Whenever there is a current alert, it will pop up on your news feed.

To get wireless Amber Alerts through your RSS feed, simply copy and paste this URL into your feed and change the last 2 letters (AL) to the state initials you'd like to see:
You can also copy and paste it into your address bar (changing the last 2 letters to the state you want) and it will take you to the RSS page where you can simply click the "subscribe" button.
If you have a blog, simply add an HTML gadget or widget to your page. Then copy and paste the HTML code below into your widget. Are you a webmaster? Just copy the code below and insert it where you want it to appear on your site.
Be sure to change the state initials to the state initials you want to display.

Your widget will look like this:
Wireless Amber Alerts only come to folks who have opted into the program or chosen to put a widget on their site. The more people who get alerts, the better our chances of finding missing kids.
So be a pal and spread the word!
