Real pedophile stories are the most terrifying because they actually happened. These stories are shocking, heartbreaking, and saddest of all, they are true. Pedophiles have a tendency to be cunning - so cunning as to fool even the most careful parent.
The fact that any adult would abuse a child in such a way makes me cringe. But the purpose of these stories is not to disgust you – the purpose is to prevent it from happening to your kids.
And as you know probably already know, the best way to learn is through experience.
We hope you won't have to suffer through a story of your own. But if you have already suffered the horrible experience, please share your pedophile stories with us.
For those of you who have been blessed to NOT experience the pedophile's vices, please learn from these stories here. We hope you will learn from others' good decisions as well as their mistakes.
Parents, victims, and spouses of predators have contacted me wanting to share their stories. They feel by sharing that they can heal and help others learn what we are really up against.
The stories are true, riveting, and they always teach us something.
You can also read this article called Profile of Pedophile for real life examples of convicted pedophiles.
Want to really get a deeper perspective on predators? Here’s my list of recommended reading:
Dateline NBC did a series of sting operations catching pedophiles that lurked the web for children. Details are real, therefore graphic, but the lessons learned are invaluable.
The second chapter tells one of the saddest stories of the rare situation when a pedophile pretends to be a teen. But you see from some of the other chapters that pedophiles don’t have to pretend.
Dr. Anna Salter never imagined she would be interviewing convicted child molesters, rapists, and other predators. Through her interviews, she learned the terrifying thought process of a predator.
She shares their deepest, darkest secrets with us - and her tips to avoid being their next target.
12-year-old Jan Broberg is kidnapped and molested by their close family friend and neighbor. The Brobergs finally get her back, only to lose her again – and this time it is because of Mom’s blunder.
Read Jan’s terrifying story in her mother’s remorseful words.
Feel free to drop me a line if you know a book of pedophile stories that belongs on my reading list.
