Hi! I’m Jannie.

This is the story about me and how this site began.

Now if you told me when I was little that I’d be a child safety guru when I grew up, I would have laughed out loud! I mean, who dreams of studying child molesters and abductors?

Not me!

…that is, until I had my first baby. But I’m getting ahead of the story.

My Story

I’m a mommy. And I love it!

I get to build my web business from home while I make a difference for my family and for children around the world.

Like anyone, I have my interests… the great outdoors, good music, and hanging out with my best friend whom I married. I love to garden, draw, hike, and eat yummy foods.

Got an education? Sure. That’s where I got started. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Science.

I planned to be a family attorney. But after working for one, it was painfully obvious that I wouldn't get to strengthen families in the ways I had originally hoped.

And if you know anything about me, my biggest dream is to strengthen families.

And now it's starting to happen!

My site was even featured in the book "Investidate: How To Investigate Your Date" by Marie Coder. She wrote an entire chapter dedicated to helping you NOT get scammed into dating a pedophile.

How Did I Get Into This?

Things really got rolling with the arrival of baby #1.

My husband and I studied up on child safety – car seats, cupboard locks, child-resistant anythings.

Then we stumbled across Child Shield USA, which introduced us to something we hadn’t thought about yet...

...What of missing kids? How do you protect your kids from that? And what about child molestation? Is there any way to prevent it?

I buried myself in research and found all kinds of great information. But it was scattered.

Some of it wasn’t usable for everyday people like me. But some of it was.

Some research was hard to understand. But some of it wasn’t.

I started talking to friends. I shared the info with my family. The more I talked, the more I realized that most people don't know much about these dangers - more importantly, they don't know the means of protection they can use to defend their children.

It wasn't just about me and my family anymore. Parents needed this - every parent needed this.

But no one wanted to read the gory science behind it... they just wanted simple answers to their questions and tools of protection. And it's hard to find the answers without having to dig through the graphic, hard-core problems first.

An Idea Was Born

Being a new mommy, I wanted to stay home with my baby, but I also wanted other parents to learn the same important information I learned.

But how?...

A website! I can reach a world-wide audience so parents like you and me wouldn't have to search the world over for answers.

The hunt for quality web hosting and good site-building tools began. I found SBI (stands for Site Build It!), which is the best program I’ve found for building a successful web business from home. With SBI, I could be a stay at home mom AND earn an income while actually helping families.

It was a match made in heaven!

So now I have my children, my passion, and my online home business all under one roof. Parents like you and me and can stop searching and start doing something to defend our children.

My Mission: To protect kids from predators...

...not just my own, but all children.

And if I can help catch one predator, stop one molestation, or keep just one child from going missing, I consider this site a complete success.
